One $30 dollar ticket, to an annual Ugly Sweater party, provides a child in our four county area a book a month for a full year. Currently, the United Way of South Central Nebraska is serving 586 children in our four county area through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The Ugly Sweater Soiree is the annual fundraiser, which allows us to continue to provide this wonderful literacy program. The event will take place at Murphy’s Wagon Wheel, on December 8 from 6 pm-8 pm. Tastings and sponsorship will also be provided by First Street Brewing Company. A limited number of tickets are available. We will have a contest for ugly, uglier, and ugliest sweater. (participation is optional). Come out on Thursday December 8th for a good cause, and get your ugly on.
