Mission:   To provide both short and long term relief to caregivers of persons with special needs such as, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, chronically ill, recnetly hospitalized and the elderly.  Also to provide support to cargivers during times of stress or crisis.

Programs/Services Provided:

Services include:  Caregiver support thru the caregiver "Night Out" support group, lunch and learn programs, the "Day of Caring for Those Who Care" event, referral information and telephone support.

How United Way Funds are used:  United Way funds are used to locate, train and refer Respite Care Providers interested in assisting caregivers who need a break.  Funding also provides support to caregivers who need references, referrals or support.
