Mission: Revive, Inc. dba Horizon Recovery and Counseling Center & The Unity Houses is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Nebraska.  The corporation is organized for the purpose of providing support, education, and encouragement through conseling, education, and transitional housing activities for those in need.  Revive, Inc mission statement:  Assisting in the transformation of lives through the process of recovery.  Horizon Recovery and Counseling Center provides quality affordable treatment to individuals and families suffering from addiction and/or mental health issues.  Horizon Recovery and Counseling Center supports an abstinence based, 12 step model of recovery while simultaneously recognizing the need for addressing spiritual, emitonal, mental and physical issues that may be the precipitation stimulu for relapse.  The Unity Houses provide a safe sober living environment for those who are serious about recovery.

How United Way Funds are used:  The United Way provides funding for the following programs:  Aftercare, Alcohol/Other Drug Education, Traditional Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient Treatment, Relapse Prevention, and alcohol and drug evaluations.

Aftercare: 

The goal of the program is to help clients modify their values and beliefs regarding chemical use.  Clients are encouraged to make commitments to behavioral changes that will help them avoid future problems.

The goal of the program is to help clients modify their values and beliefs regarding chemical use.

Traditional Intensive Outpatient:  

Is for individuals who are at a variety of different stages in their journey of recovery.

Outpatient Treatment:  

Clients are required to complete a timeline of their chemical use and share it with the treatment group and complete individual assignments, attend group therapy, educational lectures, and invidual counseling sessions.

Relapse Prevention Outpatient:  

Clients will explore their relapse cycles, gain understanding of their relapse warning signs, complete values clarification, and develop a personalized relapse prevention checklist.

Alcohol/Drug Abuse Evaluations:  

Clients will be assessed individually by a counselor.
